Joining a club
Many golf clubs in Yorkshire have vacancies
in all categories, and many allow entry via a written
application without the need for a formal proposal
by a member.
Many clubs are now introducing schemes to spread
the payment of the joining fee over a period of years,
and payment of annual fees by monthly direct debit
to make more affordable.
Average fees in Yorkshire are:
- Men - joining fee £572, annual fees £571
- Women - joining fee £502, annual fees £483
- Junior Boys - joining fee £101, annual
fees £69-166 depending on age
- Junior Girls - joining fee £98, annual
fees £69-155 depending on age
