QuickGolf
Do you fall into any of these categories?
- Many golfers find it impossible to leave
work early enough for a full round of golf
in the evening.
- Others with young families find it hard
to justify a full evening away from the family.
- Non-members rarely get the chance to play
private courses or find it hard to justify
the full green fees.
- Many beginners find it hard to break into
golf, not knowing where to start or not knowing
any other beginners.
QuickGolf addresses all of these common problems,
is designed to be fun at the same time as being
competitive, and to appeal to golfers of all
standards |

Beginners
- Meet new friends. Golf can be an intimidating
game to start with, particularly if you don’t
know anyone else of your standard. The QuickGolf
Beginners events allows new starters to feel comfortable
and maybe play 9 holes after a lesson. See Yorkshire
Golf Partner Days for opportunities to meet
new golfing friends.
- Choose between social and competitive golf. If
you prefer, just register, turn up for a friendly
game and enjoy the 9 holes.
- Invite new beginners. Please pass QuickGolf details
on to your friends.
QuickGolf handicapping
- Both players within a pair will play off ¾
of their full handicap.
- Golf club members can partner non-members, but
only in non-members competitions.
- Non-members can choose to obtain a handicap from
a recognised organisation that provide and monitor
handicaps, or play QuickGolf socially. See our section
on obtaining a golf handicap.
